1. What is the currency used?
All prices shown in the website of Alo Car Rentals are in EURO. Generally, the currency used in Cyprus is the Euro.

2. What is the minimum and maximum age of renting a car?
The minimum age for renting a car is 25 and the maximum is 75. The driver between 21-24 years old, with 3 years valid driving license can make a request for additional insurance coverage. The driver over 75 years of age with a valid driving license and in good health must also request additional insurance coverage.

3. What documents must be presented during the rental agreement?
The driver must present a valid driving license, passport or identity card and a valid credit card. An International driving license is required if the original driving license is printed with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc).

4. What is included in the rental price?

5. What is the procedure to pick up the car from Larnaca Airport?
An Alo Car Rentals representative will meet and greet you at Larnaca’s Airport car parking area,  at the departures level just in front of Costa Coffee café. We will be wearing RED clothing with our printed logo. Then, complete the car rental agreement and escort you to your car.

6. How much time the car rental agreement needs to be completed?
The car rental agreement completion will take about 5 - 15 minutes depending on the necessary details provided to Alo Car Rentals prior your arrival.

What is the procedure to deliver the car back to Larnaca Airport?
An Alo Car Rentals representative will meet you and collect the car at the airport's departures waiting lane.

8. What type of payment is accepted?
Alo Car Rentals Limited accepts all major credit and debit cards.

9. What is the fuel policy used?
The fuel policy used is FULL TO FULL. The car must be returned with a full tank as when received.

10. Can I drive the Car in the Northern occupied part of Cyprus?
No unfortunately. If you are planning to visit the Turkish occupied area of Cyprus please be aware that no insurance company offers insurance coverage there and our company forbids such action. Driving to the north occupied part of Cyprus is done entirely at your own risk. Alo Car Rentals Limited will be unable to offer you any support in case of accident or breakdown in the northern occupied part of Cyprus.

11. Can the rental agreement be extended?
Yes, you can request to extent your rental by contacting us via email or phone call before the termination of the rental agreement. However, it is always based on availability of the chosen vehicle.

12. What happens in case of a vehicle breakdown?
Our fleet is being serviced by specialists in order for all safety guidelines to be kept at a balance. However, in case of a breakdown Alo Car Rentals Limited offers 24 hours road assistance which is included in the rental rate.

13. What happens in case of a cancelation of the car rental reservation?
Any cancellation received 72 hours prior to the start of the rental will receive a full refund.

14. What should I do in case of an accident?
• Notify the police and Alo Car Rentals Limited immediately.
• Do not remove the car without the owner’s consent or police instructions.
• Obtain the car registration number of the vehicle involved, names and addresses of witnesses and deliver to Alo Car Rentals Limited.
• Notify Alo Car Rentals Limited of extend of damages and losses.

15. Are there any other costs not stated?
Our terms and conditions are straight forward with no hidden fees, you can read our terms and conditions in our website.

16. What does Super Collision Damage Waiver cover (S.C.D.W):
It covers Tyres & Windscreen fully and reduces by 50% the excess/security deposit paid in case of any damage to the car.

17. What does Full Collision Damage Waiver cover (F.C.D.W):
It is a Zero Deposit & Zero Excess option which covers Tyres & Windscreen fully and any damage made to the car (given Terms & Conditions are met). F.C.D.W is available only for drivers in age group 25-75.

18. Is there any Security Deposit Taken?
Yes, a security deposit is required. However, you can select S.C.D.W for a reduced excess/deposit or even reduce it to Zero by selecting F.C.D.W Insurance.

19. Is there an option with No Deposit and Excess?
Yes, by selecting F.C.D.W. insurance, no Excess/Deposit is taken for the car. However, depending on the car category, a small amount (EUR100-EUR150) will be taken to secure Fuel and car keys.

20. Is there an out of office hours fee?
Yes, there is an out of office hours fee, although if you select the correct hours during the online booking process, any applicable fees for out of office services will already be included in the pricing.
